Express Care Center
Same-day service: Dr. Jeffrey Steinbauer, lead physician at the Express Care Center, examines BCM employee Kelly McCall. The goal of the center is to see patients on the day an appointment is requested.

Express Care Center: Quick, convenient, quality care
For timely treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, members of the BCM family, employees of Texas Children's Hospital and Rice University, and established patients are encouraged to visit Baylor Clinic's Family Medicine Express Care Center. Call 713-798-WELL (9355).
Benefits of the Express Care Center include:
- Access to treatment when your primary care physician is not available
- Convenient location
- Quality care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries for patients 12 and older
- Appointments recommended, but walk-ins accepted
- Referrals for further evaluation and treatment
- Access to lab tests and diagnostic imaging
Our Express Care Center offers treatment for minor illnesses and injuries including, but not limited to:
- Colds, coughs and sore throats
- Eye and ear infections
- Cuts and scrapes
- Minor skin infections, rashes, hives
- Stomach aches, backaches, and headaches
- Minor strains and sprains (suspected broken bones)
- Sinus infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Upper respiratory tract infections
