How many times will I be able to respond once the provider has answered my initial question?
You will be able to respond to any questions asked of you by the provider without incurring an additional charge.
How will you keep my evisit information confidential?
Patients and Providers will communicate through BFM’s secure website and messaging system, both of which are HIPAA compliant and meet established industry standards.
Will my questions be answered by a specific physician?
Not always. You can request a specific provider, but if that provider is not available your response will come from the provider covering for him or her.
If the provider feels the information I provided requires an ‘in person’ visit, will I be charged twice?
No, if the provider determines an office visit is necessary, you will not be charged
for the e-visit.
Will the evisit become a part of my Medical Record?
Yes.
